When it is set to manual only the owner can open close the door. The only thing i wish it had in this set is a key for rp scenarios when kids accidentally lock themselves in the bathroom etc. Second life wiki one script many doors. I know that the server does something similar but having a mesh spare key item or just a script that you could put into an item that d do that for different rooms that you hold and click and can use to enter would be amazing for family roleplay.

This keypad door is composed of 3 scripts one for the door one for the keypad and one for each keypad button. Bel s menu door is a no nonsene door script for regualr rotating doors with all the essential functions you need. Your door or object must be modify to put the script in. See item in second life.

This script is my attempt at solving the massive amount of simple door scripts one can have in a sim i removed about 110 door scripts in my sim using this system it handles clockwise and counter clockwise door direction a name based access control list play sounds and the root prim reports memory free useful for really big door sets. Door opens automatically when walking through no need to click menu option. Make 11 buttons and name them the following. 22 lock locks all doors in range and allows 23 only the permitted users to open it.

For a swimming pool put this into the root prim of a two prim swimming pool cover or door. Horizontal trap door can be set to auto open only from under not from floor side. Put this script in each button. The sounds are generated from the script.

24 to open the door either touch it walk into it or. The script calculates a side pivot something most other scripts don t do. See item in second life. Reset enter and the numbers 1 9.
